The Old Depot Gallery and Association is a non-profit and volunteer organization, located in downtown Black Mountain, NC at 207 Sutton Ave., Black Mountain in the historic Train Depot. The Old Depot Association was started in 1976 to protect and maintain the over 100 year old Black Mountain Train Depot, and support the teaching of mountain and heritage crafts in our local Swannanoa Valley Schools. To that end we have a master craft and fine art gallery housed in the Old Depot, and we host a biannual juried art show: Art by the Tracks, to raise money for heritage art projects in local schools.
